USC Tackles vs. Notre Dame Pass Rush

This is one spot where Notre Dame should have a significant advantage. USC on both lines is not a very good bunch. I won’t go as far as to say they are Florida State bad, but Notre Dame should definitely have its way on Saturday night. And, this should help contain the pass catchers for USC. If Julian Okwara, Khalid Kareem and co. can get to JT Daniels, turnovers and long distance situations will be plentiful.

Notre Dame hasn’t had much trouble rushing the passer against good offensive lines, therefore, I don’t expect any issues this week as well. This is the type of game edge rushers want to be apart of, and it only helps that a college football playoff birth rests on the hinges of this game. Expect a dominant performance from the pass rush this weekend.

I’ll save my final score prediction for our Friday predictions piece, but the defense should be in for another good day. The USC playmakers should be able to find some holes, and the rushing attack could have a solid day as well, but overall the Notre Dame defense will be too good for a freshman signal caller and USC team that probably wishes the season was already over.
