LOS ANGELES, CA – NOVEMBER 10: Tyler Vaughns #21 of the USC Trojans makes a catch in front of Elijah Hicks #3 of the California Golden Bears for a touchdown to take a 14-0 lead during the second quarter at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on November 10, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Tyler Vaughns, Wide Receiver

Vaughns comes in just behind St. Brown with 47 receptions on the year. Although he has nearly 100 less receiving yards than St. Brown with 554, he has two more touchdowns than St. Brown with five.

While St. Brown can aid in making Daniels more comfortable, Vaughns has a better chance at creating the opportunity for a big play. He is fast and has the ability to burn his receivers deep. This marries well with Daniels’ arm strength. However, his speed also allows him to create separation in more simplistic, intermediate routes as well.

It will be imperative for the Irish pass defenders to keep pace with Vaughns in order to avoid the USC offense making a big play.
