Khalid Kareem

If you are going to be successful on defense at any level, you need to be able to get to the quarterback and disrupt the timing of the opposing offense. Khalid Kareem is entering a season where he will be counted on as the most consistent pass-rusher for the Irish. He broke out in 2018 with 11.5 tackles for loss and 5.5. sacks. The Irish should be really good on defense in 2019, but for the unit to be elite, Kareem with need to improve on all of those numbers, despite being a marked man by opposing offenses.
