5. Bowling Green

Bowling Green travels to South Bend the week before USC does. Now, say what you will about USC last season, but anything can happen in a rivalry game. The Trojans almost beat an undefeated Notre Dame team in 2018 — despite having a losing record. Every Irish team looks forward to the Trojans. It’s easy to forget the week before, especially against a hapless team like Bowling Green. Still, don’t forget the game Ball State gave Notre Dame last season. MAC teams can give you a scare if you’re not careful. Bowling Green shouldn’t be a problem, but if the Irish think to much about USC, then things could get interesting
