For all of New Mexico’s lack of success, they’re coached by former Notre Dame coach Bob Davie. Davie is the coach who unsuccessfully replaced Lou Holtz. You know he’ll be motivated. His Lobos will be in the atmosphere of a lifetime — and they’ll want a memory. Notre Dame is gonna catch a team trying to throw haymakers, even if they’re not capable of landing any. The worst part for Notre Dame? They travel between the hedges to face Georgia the next week. All of a sudden, it gets hard to focus on New Mexico.
