Joe Cool is among the two or three names thrown around as the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. That’s with good reason. Montana spent most of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, and went 4-0 in Super Bowls with them. His touchdown pass to Dwight Clark against the Cowboys is one of the iconic moments in NFL history. Montana played in three different decades, despite only being a third round pick. He threw 273 touchdowns and for 40,551 yards in his Hall of Fame career.
