Notre Dame Football: Reaction to Kickoff Times for 2019 Home Games

The 2:30pm ET Games

This slate includes the home opener against Bob Davie’s New Mexico Lobos and all three November games (Virginia Tech, Navy, and Boston College).

One can make the argument that the Virginia Tech game was the next best candidate for a prime time slot. If I had the power to change one game, that would be the one I would choose.

I don’t have that much of an issue with the 2:30pm start time in general. I would prefer if only one or two games each year were assigned to this time.

Maybe I have become a bit spoiled, but I loved the fact that I would never have to double-check the start time of Notre Dame home games in past years. It was always 3:30pm ET.

I am sure that fans of other Power 5 conferences that may be reading this are rolling their eyes since their teams probably have to play a few noon games each season.
