Notre Dame Football: Reaction to Kickoff Times for 2019 Home Games

The 3:30pm ET Games

There are only two games scheduled to start at the typical 3:30pm time slot. Those are back-to-back games against Virginia and Bowling Green.

After playing two of their first three games on the road, the Irish will return to South Bend for a three-game home stand. That home stand starts with this pair of 3:30pm games.

The matchup against Virginia is being viewed by some as the first “trap game” of the season. The Irish will be returning home from an trip to Athens, Georgia the week prior. And you know that UVA fans have not forgotten about the heartbreaking loss they suffered against Notre Dame in 2015.

Following the Virginia game, the Irish will open up October with a home matchup against Bowling Green. Notable in this game is Bowling Green’s defensive coordinator: Mr. Brian Van Gorder.
