Brock Wright: When Wright originally committed to Notre Dame, he was the top tight end recruit in the country known for his inline blocking prowess and potential as a pass catcher. Cole Kmet signed with Notre Dame in the same class, and began his climb up the recruiting rankings – eventually finishing 100 points higher on 247sports.com’s final rankings. Although Kmet has received most of the spotlight since stepping foot on campus – and will be the starter in 2019 – Wright has transformed his body, and is less stiff and a much better pass catching threat than his first two years in South Bend.
