Will Fuller Round 1, Pick 21, 21st overall in 2016

After a great college career that began as a four star recruit and concluded with two 1,000 yard seasons, Fuller decided to leave Notre Dame early and enter the 2016 draft.

Much like Michael Floyd, Will Fuller was another “can’t miss” NFL prospect. It was widely expected he’d be a first round section.

Fuller was ranked by ESPN as the 4th best wide receiver in the draft and the 21st overall prospect. He was also given a Scouts Inc grade of 90, which represents an “elite” player.

Fuller’s explosiveness and big play ability was well known by Notre Dame fans, but Fuller set the combine world on fire when he ran a 4.32 40 time that cemented his first round status.

Fuller’s size is comparable to TJ Jones.

Given the choice between Fuller and Boykin, I’d pick Fuller without a second thought. Fuller’s game changing speed and leaping ability (a slight advantage in vertical but 7 inches in broad jump) and the aforementioned explosiveness sets them apart. Fuller ability to turn a 10 yard pass into a 75 yard highlight touchdown set them apart.

Advantage: Will Fuller
