The 2019 NFL Draft saw six Notre Dame football players selected to NFL rosters. Which players still on the roster will make for top selections next season?

For the likes of former Notre Dame football players Jerry Tillery, Miles Boykin, and Julian Love, and Drue Tranquill, it seems as if the NFL future is bright. Being selected in the first 4 rounds of the NFL Draft usually equates to a solid start of an NFL career. Dexter Williams and Alize Mack–who were selected in the 6th and 7th rounds, respectively–will have the opportunity to prove themselves for their teams.

Te’Von Coney inexplicably fell out of the draft, but also has a tremendous chance to prove himself with the Oakland Raiders.

But even though the 2019 NFL Draft is still fresh, it’s never too early to look forward to 2020. That begs the question: Which players on this team will have their name called next season?

The Irish will have another successful season, with many games qualifying as marquee matchups. One thing is for sure: Going to Notre Dame gives players exposure for NFL scouts. There is no doubt that players like Dexter Williams and Alize Mack and undrafted guys like Nick Coleman and Sam Mustipher benefitted from having other must-see prospects as teammates.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m no draft guru, so it’s hard for me to project where some of these players will fall next season, but I think it’s still safe to single out a few guys that will undoubtedly be chasing their NFL dreams next spring.
