Liam Eichenberg is an interesting prospect. He was good for Notre Dame last season, but needs to continuously improve to up his draft stock. One mock draft actually has Eichenberg going late in the first round.

Eichenberg is certainly no Mike McGlinchey and it’s hard to project the type of leap Eichenberg will take in year two of being the starter at left tackle.

Here’s the bottom line: Left tackle is an important position. Playing it well at a place like Notre Dame usually means you’re going to get drafted.
