Notre Dame entered their final regular season game with an undefeated record and their College Football Playoff hopes on the line.

The Irish were 14-point favorites in this matchup, but you could not tell that based on how the game played out. USC scored on their opening drive and maintained a lead into the third quarter.

Notre Dame was leading 17-10 with just over three minutes left in the game when Ian Book hit Tony Jones Jr. in the flat.

Jones Jr. took care of the rest as he scampered for 51 yards to score the touchdown that essentially sealed the game for the Irish.
