Fromm was the easiest pick on this list. Yes, he plays on the best team of the group, but there is no denying this kid’s talent. Suffice it to say, there is a reason why he was featured on a Netflix series and why he won the starting job at Georgia as a true freshman.

Irish fans were first introduced to Fromm in 2017. The Bulldogs made the trip up to South Bend for a highly-anticipated matchup in week two of the college football season.

Georgia won that game by a final score of 20-19. Fromm did not light it up that night, but, outside of an interception right before halftime, he was mistake-free. He finished the game with 141 passing yards and a touchdown.

Fromm finished his freshman season with 2,615 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. We have to take into account that he played in 15 games that season with the SEC Championship and two games in the College Football Playoff, but those are impressive numbers for a true freshman.

Fromm showed improvement in the 2018 season – throwing for 2,749 yards and 30 touchdowns in fourteen games. He posted the third highest Total QBR in college football and ranked in the top 10 in both yards per pass attempt and passing touchdowns.
