The Big House is the biggest stadium in college football. It’s safe to say the stadium gets loud, the tailgating is big, and there’s tons to do. The Michigan band will tell you that they are better than Ohio State’s band. That’s not true, but they are a really good band. Similar to how Notre Dame enters the field after touching the “Play Like a Champion Today” sign, Michigan enters by slapping their own banner. During the game, the fans have a number of chants. The atmosphere only gets better when another traditional power, and especially a rival, visit the Big House.

Seeing as Notre Dame and Michigan won’t play again for at least a few seasons, this is your last chance for a while to get to Michigan. Both athletic directors would like to get the series going again, but that won’t be for a few seasons, at least. Each program has 11 National Championships to their name. A total of ten Heisman winners come from the two schools, but 7 of those come from Notre Dame. They also combine for 185 All-Americans between the two schools, again, mostly from Notre Dame. Michigan leads the all time series 24-17-1. Last time the two programs took a break from playing, Notre Dame won 31-0. It would be good to go out like that again.
