The 2019 Notre Dame football schedule offers fans one chance to roll an NFL game into a Irish road trip.

Sometimes one game per weekend is not enough — even for Notre Dame football fans. If you’re going to take a road trip, it’s nice to pack as much fun and excitement as possible into your journey.

The 2019 Notre Dame football season offers just one chance for Irish fans to travel to a Notre Dame game and see an NFL game the next day in the same area.

On Saturday, October 26th, the Irish will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines. For many, a trip to The Big House for a game is a bucket-list item on its own — especially given how good both the Irish and Michigan are expected to be this season. But on the following Sunday, Notre Dame football fans who travel to the Michigan game have a chance to hang around and catch and the Detroit Lions hosting the New York Giants the very next day.

If you are flying in for the Michigan game, you’re going to fly into Detroit anyway. Ann Arbor is only about a 45 minute drive from the Motor City. Do yourselves a favor, book that hotel for an extra night, and hang around to watch former Notre Dame players Jarron Jones, Theo Riddick and Romeo Okwara of the Lions take on Golden Tate and Julian Love of the Giants.

According to VividSeats.com, you can get two tickets for the Notre Dame-Michigan game on the secondary market for around $250 apiece. If you are looking for Giants-Lions tickets, you can secure those for around $50 apiece.
