If you’re the kind of person who likes to slap some cash on your beloved Notre Dame football team, pay attention.

If you’re like me, you’re a bit of a closet degenerate gambler, always tracking the odds and spreads — waiting for the right moment to plop down a chunk of change on Notre Dame football.

As we head into the Summer, there are plenty of bets to be made. Here are some of the most popular and accessible futures bets you can put money on right now.

College Football Playoff National Championship

At this moment, Oddshark has Notre Dame at +3300 to win the whole thing. For those unfamiliar with how that works, +3300 means you would win $3,300 for every $100 you bet. Long story short: Notre Dame at +3300 is pretty low-risk, high-reward.

Heisman Trophy

There are a couple of different numbers associated with Ian Book’s chances to win the Heisman Trophy in 2019. BetStars has Book at +1800, Fanduel has him at +3600, and you can get him at the Westgate Sportsbook at +6000.

If the Irish win at Georgia early in the season, you’ll likely see those odds change dramatically.

Individual Games

The Golden Nugget Sportbook in Las Vegas released a handful of college football lines last week. Here’s what they had for Notre Dame football:

+9 at Georgia

+6 at Michigan

-18 at Louisville

-12.5 at Southern Cal

-16 vs. Virginia Tech

-5.5 at Stanford

As of right now, it looks like the Irish will be favored in every game except Georgia and Michigan. Keep an eye on that Michigan line, as it was recently announced that Wolverine running back Chris Evans will be suspended for the entire 2019 season. Whether or not his suspension is enough to alter lines remains to be seen, but it’s worth paying attention to.

As far as the other games, I’d steer clear of Southern Cal and Virginia Tech. Those are two big numbers against two very capable teams.
