Notre Dame Football: Shamrock Series Uniform Rankings, 2019 Edition
By Jack Leniart
No. 2: 2015 vs. Boston College (Fenway Park, Boston, MA)
The Irish paid tribute to their hosts in 2015 with these all-green uniforms. This Shamrock Series game was played at historic Fenway Park in Boston.
One of the most recognizable features of this baseball stadium is the HUGE left field wall, which is known as the “Green Monster”.
Green Monster, meet green uniforms.
This uniform design bore some similarities to the previous year, but we can chalk that up to the general Under Armour style.
These uniforms were bold yet simple. The jerseys had navy and gold stripes on the collarbone area accents and the word “Irish” stitched in gold on the chest.
The pants were very similar. They were mostly green except for a navy and gold strip that ran down the hip and cut over right below the thigh pads.
The helmets were painted a shiny gold and had a green and blue stripe down the center. On both sides of the helmet, the head of the leprechaun logo was printed with green outlines.
