Notre Dame Football: Irish vs. Georgia is the hottest ticket of 2019

The Notre Dame football game against Georgia is far and away the most in-demand college football game of the 2019 season, according to secondary ticket prices.

I love Notre Dame football, you love Notre Dame football. It would appear that whether or not they want to admit it — everyone loves Notre Dame football.

As I scour through the entire 2019 college football schedule, it’s not hard to notice how the ticket prices for every game in the country stack up. One game in particular pops off the page from a price standpoint: Notre Dame vs. Georgia.

Right now, the early season battle between two top-ten teams is going for a minimum of $484 on VividSeats.com. That’s far and away the most expensive regular-season ticket in all of college football — and it’s not close.

The next closest game in terms of minimum price demanded on the secondary market is also a Notre Dame game — the home tilt with USC. Those tickets are going for $271.

There are a number of other high-profile matchups demanding over $200 per ticket at the moment.

The Miami-Florida Week zero matchup is going for $230. The Nebraska rematch with Colorado at Boulder is going for $258, while the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas is at a minimum of $237.

In the Big Ten, the top two games are the Penn State-Ohio State matchup and of course the big Ohio State-Michigan game. Those tickets are going for $221 and $205, respectively.

The Army-Navy game is currently selling at $214.

Regardless of what anyone tells you, the lure of Notre Dame football is real. Sure, a large part of these prices has to do with knowing what each fan base is willing to pay. But that itself is a testament to the passion of the Irish faithful and the perennial relevance of Notre Dame football.
