Freshmen

Last but not least is the yearly recurring question of which freshmen will see the field. Many of them were mentioned above — names like Jay Bramblett, Jacob Lacey, and JD Bertrand.

Who was not mentioned above? Well possibly the most impressive and talked about freshmen, safety Kyle Hamilton. Other names to keep an eye on are running back Kyren Williams and wide receiver Cam Hart — who to the surprise of many has stood out since arriving in June.

As I mentioned previously about the linebacker position, Kelly also stated that they would know more about which freshmen could see the field after the first week of Fall camp. It’s very likely that most of this year’s freshmen will be red-shirted as is the case in most years.
