The former Irish star is becoming a sexy name in Fantasy Football circles heading into the 2019 season.

If you watched Notre Dame football any time during the last two seasons, you probably saw Miles Boykin do some pretty amazing things at the receiver position. Now he could be doing those amazing things for your fantasy football team.

Boykin followed up a solid collegiate career with an outstanding performance at the 2019 NFL Combine. Those things combined led to him being selected in the third round by the Baltimore Ravens.

Heading into camp, the Ravens wide receiver depth chart was suspect at best. That — along with Boykin being impressive in camp — has resulted in a couple of media members close to the Ravens going on record as saying that he could be Baltimore’s No. 1 wide receiver.

Fantasy gurus are taking notice.

At first, Boykin was viewed as a solid option in dynasty leagues, worth stashing away as he grows into a consistent contributor. Now, however, with the role that many expect him to assume, Boykin is worth a late pick as a streamer in traditional leagues.

A lot of it has to do with who is playing quarterback in Baltimore.

Lamar Jackson excels at two things: scrambling and slinging the ball deep downfield. Boykin is no stranger to the deep ball.

Between the 20s, Jackson will have a lot of room to run around, scrambling and finding open receivers over the middle. In the red zone, things will get tight and he won’t find as much open field to roam free.

That’s where Boykin comes in.

At 6’4″, Miles Boykin has the build — and athleticism — to become Lamar Jackson’s favorite red zone target. You want a guy who you can just toss it toward and hope his athleticism wins out. Miles Boykin has been that guy his entire life. That’s not going to change at the next level.

If you like having Notre Dame players on your fantasy football roster, don’t be afraid to grab Boykin — and be ready to use him in 2019. He’s low-risk, high reward.
