Several former Notre Dame players made contribution for their respective NFL teams in Week 2.

Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season is in the books. Notre Dame has plenty of alumni in “the league”, and some of them came through on the stat sheets over the weekend.

Here are the notable performances from your favorite Irish in the NFL in Week 2.

Tyler Eifert, Tight End, Cincinnati Bengals

Eifert was targeted five times, catching three balls for nine yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati’s 41-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Harrison Smith, Safety, Minnesota Vikings

Smith logged six total tackles, defended a pass and forced a fumble in Minnesota’s 21-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

T.J. Jones, Wide Receiver, New York Giants

Jones was targeted four times, catching three balls for 38 yards and a touchdown in New York’s 28-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Stephon Tuitt, Defensive End, Pittsburgh Steelers

Tuitt logged four tackles and 2.5 sacks in Pittsburgh’s 28-26 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Jaylon Smith, Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys

Smith piled up 11 total tackles in the 31-21 win over the Washington Redskins.

Zack Martin, Guard, Dallas Cowboys

Martin and the Dallas offensive line paved the way for 213 rushing yards against the Redskins.

Will Fuller, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans

Fuller was targeted seven times, catching four passes for 40 yards in Houston’s 13-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Nick Martin, Center, Houston Texans

Martin led a Houston offensive line that allowed the Texan backs to rush for 126 yards on 30 carries in the win over the Jaguars.

Quenton Nelson, Guard, Indianapolis Colts

Nelson was part of a Colts offensive line that paved the way for 167 rushing yards, helping his team to a 19-17 win over the Tennessee Titans.
