The most anticipated Notre Dame game of the season is already here.

Notre Dame vs. Georgia has become the hardest ticket in college football to get. No.7 at No.3 is everything we want this early in the season. Playoff implications are already on the line, as a loss has the potential to derail one of these teams’ seasons.

The hard part is, we enter week four of the season with not a lot of information on either.

Notre Dame comes in at 2-0 with wins over Louisville and New Mexico and a bye week in between.

The Bulldogs have an expected 3-0 record, but their opponents have failed to show us what they bring to the table. Vanderbilt, Murray State and Arkansas State were all the blowouts that were expected.

Scheduling accompanied with early-season injuries have left us with a lot of unknowns heading into this game. Who does that favor? Well, that’s a question that can be only answered after Saturday.

Notre Dame on one side has almost provided us more questions than we had to begin the season. Slow starts, shaky performances and surprise outbreaks have left us not really being able to predict confidently what Brian Kelly will be putting on the field.

Ian Book has had moments where he looks questionable, but his stats say something else. The Irish quarterback’s pass-efficiency rating is 202.7. Not only is that the best mark of his career, but also it ranks him fifth nationally.

The questions will continue to pile up. The only thing that is certain is we all will be tuned in for this one.

ESPN’s College GameDay will be present — as if it was ever in question. Shockingly, this will be only the third-ever meeting between these two schools. The last one was the instant classic in South Bend from 2017.

This will be Notre Dame’s first trip to Sanford Stadium. We’ll see how it all could pan out with three bold predictions for Notre Dame at Georgia.
