Advantage-Draw

Both offensive lines are extremely talented. The Georgia offensive line is led by the consensus top offensive lineman in all of college football, Andrew Thomas, who could be a top five selection in the 2020 NFL draft.

Notre Dame has two offensive linemen that are projected to go in the first round of the draft in Liam Eichenberg and Tommy Kraemer.

Thomas, Kindley, Wilson, Eichenberg and Kraemer were all named to the preseason watchlist for the John H. Outland Trophy, awarded to the best interior lineman in college football. Trey Hill and Jarrett Patterson were each named to the preseason watchlist for the Dave Rimington Award, given to the best center in college football.

Georgia has a much larger offensive line than Notre Dame does and they are much better run blockers than the Irish offensive line. However, the Irish are better at pass blocking than their Georgia counterparts. It will be interesting to see how this Georgia offensive line matches up against the elite pass rushing ability of the Notre Dame defensive line.
