Advantage-Georgia
This advantage is not by a wide margin. Georgia gets the edge over the Irish mainly due to experience, as all three Irish linebackers have only started two games at their respective positions. The linebacker play for the Irish will go a long way in determining the outcome of the game.
If they can be productive in stopping the run and can help to lock down Georgia’s speedy wide receivers, keeping both from getting into the next level of the defense, then Notre Dame will have a legitimate chance of upsetting Georgia.
