Here are the former Notre Dame players who stood out during Week 10 of NFL play.
Drue Tranquill, Linebacker, Los Angeles Chargers
Tranquill continues to impress during his first season as a pro. He was all over the field for the Chargers on Thursday night, albeit in a losing effort. He logged 14 total tackles, as L.A. fell to the Oakland Raiders 26-24.
Tyler Eifert, Tight End, Cincinnati Bengals
Eifert’s team took one of the chin via the buzzsaw that is the Baltimore Ravens as of late. The Bengals lost 49-13, but Eifert was one of the few bright spots for Cincinnati. He caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.
Kyle Rudolph, Tight End, Minnesota Vikings
Rudolph was a huge part of Minnesota’s 28-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. He caught four balls for 14 yards, two touchdowns and a two point conversion — including one grab that some are calling “the catch of the year.”
Jaylon Smith, Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys
Smith continues to be a forces for the Cowboys and one of the best linebacker in the game. He logged 13 total tackles in the 28-24 Sunday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He ended up covering or near Rudolph several times in the game, which made for an interesting matchup.
