It’s almost peak mock draft season, and Notre Dame has a nice group of players projected to be taken in April.

It seems everyone has a first round mock draft these days. Few sites, however, do a full seven round NFL mock draft. One site that does — CBS Sports — released a seven-round mock draft on Friday. They had eight Notre Dame players being selected.

Here are the players and where they were projected to go.

Julian Okwara, Round 1, Pick 18, Las Vegas Raiders

This would be a nice spot for Okwara, paired opposite of rookie standout Maxx Crosby. It would give the Raiders a scary pass-rushing duo for years to come.

Chase Claypool, Round 4, Pick 133, Houston Texans

The Texans are deep at receiver, but they have a lot of small to intermediate-sized guys who specialize in certain routes. They don’t have a big-bodied red zone threat like Claypool. It could be a nice fit, but not the most ideal situation.

Tommy Kraemer, Round 4, Pick 141, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles need to protect their Carson Wentz investment, and getting a lineman the caliber of Kramer in the 4th round would be a steal.

Troy Pride, Round 4, Pick 146, Miami Dolphins

This would be a great situation for Pride. Miami needs help everywhere and they don’t really have a wealth of talent in the secondary. He could be an immediate contributor on a team that has nowhere to go but up.

Khalid Kareem, Round 5, Pick 153, Detroit Lions

First off, there’s no way he falls this far. If somehow he does, this is not a bad place to be. Matt Patricia is a defensive genius, and he’d put Kareem in a position to succeed.

Alohi Gilman, Round 7, Pick 229, Cleveland Browns

Gilman would also be a steal here, and he would add depth to a position of need for the Browns. His physical play at the position would also make him a fan favorite in one of the league’s most blue-collar cities.

Jalen Elliott, Round 7, Pick 232, Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are on the uptick, and Elliot would have a chance to be part of their rise. Elliott is a playmaker, and he could impress people anywhere he lands.

Daelin Hayes, Round 7, Pick 251, Houston Texans

Hayes is a sleeper pick. He’s not a household name nationally, but he has the skill set to be a serious contributor on any roster for a decade. He would add to an already scary Texan D-line rotation.
