Starting at right guard for Notre Dame this fall will be the fifth-year senior, Tommy Kraemer.

Kraemer has been great for Notre Dame when healthy, but his health has become an issue recently. The former 5-star guard suffered a sprained MCL against Michigan last season and ended up missing the rest of the season because of it.

The Cincinnati, Ohio product undoubtedly projects to be an NFL Draft pick next year, but just how high he goes will depend on how he recovers from his MCL sprain and if he stays healthy this fall.

Filling in after Kraemer on the depth chart is the junior, John Dirksen.

Dirksen has not received much playing time in his Notre Dame career so far, but what he does have going for him is that he has managed to stay healthy. Health has been a real problem for Notre Dame offensive lineman as of late but Dirksen has proven to be able to withstand the beating in the trenches.

If Kraemer goes down again, expect Dirksen or the aforementioned Josh Lugg to take his place.

Lastly, the senior, Dillan Gibbons.

Gibbons is in a tough spot, he is a solid player but there is a ton of talent above him and at other positions that makes it difficult to see how he would see much of the field.

Anything can happen, but it is hard to expect much of a contribution from Gibbons this season.
