Pat Garrity tops this list of all-time athletes named Patrick to have played at Notre Dame. The former Irish basketball power forward had a prolific career with Notre Dame. Garrity played on the Notre Dame basketball team from 1994-1998.

During his time with Notre Dame, Garrity would average double-digit scoring in all four years that he played. He would be named the 1997 Big East Conference player of the year and would be named a second-team All-American in 1998. During his senior year, Garrity would average 23.2 points per game and be the leading scorer for the Irish.

The Milwaukee Bucks would select Garrity in the first round of the 1998 NBA Draft with the 19th overall selection. However, they would trade him to the Dallas Mavericks along with the rights to future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki. The Mavericks would then immediately trade Garrity to the Pheonix Suns for Steve Nash, making Garrity the key component in the deals that brought the duo of Nash and Nowitzki to the Mavericks.
