D-Bob

Dennis a.k.a “D-Bob” is another mostly fictional character who provided some awkward humor to the story. Besides being a tutor, he was also Rudy’s best thread after Pete died. Though their friendship started with a deal of tutoring in exchange for Rudy trying to hook D-Bob up with girls, it blossomed into what we all assume would be a lifelong bond.

D-Bob eventually found Elsa, and we are led to believe they lived happily ever after, as she followed him to Miami law school and was by his side again when they both returned to see Rudy’s final game.

The lovable, nerdy teddy bear with the foul mouth (he’s not allowed to say “God damn” anymore) is about as iconic as a fictional character can be among Notre Dame fans.
