Notre Dame football’s independence allows the school many opportunities to play in unique stadiums and venues across the globe.

In 2020, Notre Dame football fans hoped to cross off a bucket list item by attending a game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. However, reports indicate that the Irish and Badgers may play these  games at home venues instead of neutral sites that were originally planned. Even if the games are still played at neutral sites, it is likely that attendance for this year’s contest at Lambeau Field will be greatly curtailed. So, fans might have to wait to see the blue and gold in the stadium that is named after former Notre Dame football player Curly Lambeau.

Notre Dame is slated to play in several awesome stadiums in 2020. The relatively-brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host Georgia Tech and Notre Dame in November. The Irish will also play at Heinz Field (Pittsburgh), Bank of American Stadium (Wake Forest) and the L.A. Memorial Coliseum (USC). Of course, Notre Dame was originally scheduled to travel to Ireland for another gridiron clash with Navy at Aviva Stadium to open the season. The schools announced that game would be played in Annapolis for the first time in the storied rivalry.

Lambeau Field and the several NFL stadiums listed above are not the only spectacular venues that the Irish need to play in. There are many wonderful and unique places that Notre Dame can demonstrate its storied tradition.

Here are the top venues that need to hold a Notre Dame football team game in the future.
