Randall St. Felix-Wide receiver

Moving on from Darrian Felix, we turn to South Florida wideout Randall St. Felix as the next offensive player for Notre Dame football fans to keep an eye on in the game against the Bulls, as the wide receiver out of Miami, Florida is perhaps the most highly touted of their receiving corps.

At 6’2″ and 206-pounds, St. Felix is a big-bodied, physical receiver. Last season, St. Felix was second on the team with 22 receptions and 261 receiving yards. He also contributed two receiving touchdowns.

In 2018, he led the Bulls in receiving yards when he tallied 679 on 33 receptions. In addition, he had four touchdown catches, which tied him for the team lead. He also managed four 100-yard receiving games, which set a South Florida school record. Most impressive about those numbers, was the fact that St. Felix was a freshman when he did so.

This year, as a junior, South Florida is expected to lean heavily on St. Felix in the passing game. While he does not possess elite speed at the receiver position, St. Felix can create separation in the passing game and because of his size, can easily go up and smaller defensive backs to win jump balls.

If the South Florida offense gets into the red zone against Notre Dame, expect Randall St. Felix to be a prime receiving target, regardless of which quarterback is in the game at that time. He is also to be a likely target if the Bulls are in need of a critical catch in the game.
