Predicting that a team, really any team outside of maybe Alabama, is going to beat the Clemson Tigers is a bold prediction. This is a program that has been the cream of the crop over the past five years, and they are in no way slowing down, even without their star quarterback.
Clemson is going into Notre Dame with a lot of confidence, but their quarterback is making his first collegiate road start, and will be playing a much better team than he played in his first start at BC. Notre Dame has earned the No. 4 ranking in the country, as they may have the most complete defense in college football, and have a veteran quarterback in Ian Book who has never lost a game at home.

If Book can continue his unblemished record inside Notre Dame Stadium, the Fighting Irish will have pulled off the best win in head coach Brian Kelly’s run at the school. Clemson not only has elite players, but also one of the better coaching staffs in the country as well, so expect this one to go down to the wire.
