The Notre Dame Football program locked down another big recruit on Thursday, as offensive lineman Caleb Johnson flipped to the Irish.

This has been an outstanding week for Irish recruiting, with 2021 offensive tackle Caleb Johnson out of Florida committing to the Irish on Thursday evening. The Notre Dame football program locked down their fourth commit this week, and this is another big-time prospect.

Johnson has actually been committed to Auburn since May, but still stayed in contact with the Irish staff. When he committed, I don’t think Notre Dame was at the point of making a big push for commitments, and he decided Auburn was the spot for the time being.

He has lots of ties to the Midwest area, and once the staff really but the full court on him and made it know they wanted him in the class and being the final piece to the offensive line puzzle. he just couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

At the moment Johnson hold 36 offers from the likes of Florida, Alabama, Penn State and many other big time programs.
