NFL Draft 2021: Could two Notre Dame football players go in first round?

The Notre Dame football program is taking college football by storm, and two of their top prospects could land in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Sporting an 8-0 record during their bye week, the Notre Dame football team is certainly having a special season. They have run through their ACC schedule, beating everyone in their path, including the then-No. 1 Clemson Tigers.
While much of the talk has been around quarterback Ian Book, who has really turned it on the last four games, and is playing at an extremely high level, the Fighting Irish is getting contributions all over the field. From the secondary on defense, to the offensive line on offense, the Irish are loaded with talent, and if they play their game, they could hang in with any team currently projected for the College Football Playoff.
Looking at those players who will likely enter the 2021 NFL Draft, there are more than a handful that should hear their name called across the seven rounds next year. However, there are a few Notre Dame players who could creep into the first round, and we take a look at who those players could be heading into the final stretch of the season.
It has been a total team effort in 2020, and two key players could find themselves drafted in the first round in next year’s 2021 NFL Draft.
