The Notre Dame football team will hit the road for game No. 9 on Friday, as they travel to North Carolina to take on the No. 25-ranked Tar Heels.

Looking to move their record to 9-0 on the season, the Notre Dame football team will head to North Carolina for a Friday matchup against the Tar Heels. North Carolina was recently ranked in the top-25, coming in as the No. 25 team in the country, so it looks like Irish will not play only unranked teams the rest of the way.

Prior to the bye week, the Irish were able to avoid a let down against Boston College, going on the road and beating the Eagles by the score of 45-31. Playing against a former teammate in Phil Jurkovec, Notre Dame was able to pull away in the second half thanks to the play of C’Bo Flemister, who was in for Kyren Williams at running back.

Since losing on the road to Virginia a few weeks back, the Tar Heels have won their last two games, and have score a ton of points in the process. North Carolina is also coming off their bye week, so they have had two weeks to prepare for the unquestioned best team on their 2020 schedule.

Here are three things to keep an eye on in the matchup.
