Notre Dame football: Offensive position grades vs. North Carolina
The Notre Dame football team had a balanced attack on offense on Friday, and here are the offensive grades against North Carolina.
It took the first month or so of the season to get going, but from the Pitt game onwards, the Notre Dame football team’s offense has been excellent. That’s something that it’s taken a few weeks to recognize, largely because most people have expected Ian Book to fail.
That changed when Book led the Irish to an incredible win against No. Clemson, though. Finally, fans started to accept that this offense wasn’t designed in the Oklahoma model, and wasn’t going to blow the roof off defenses like an Alabama.
Finally, Ian Book has moved past the label of not good enough and is now getting legitimate Heisman hype.
There were questions, due to health issues on the offensive line, as to whether or not Notre Dame could keep the good times rolling against North Carolina. The Irish rose to the occasion, with a strong 31-point performance in a win over the Tar Heels.
Because of that strong performance, there are a lot of good grades on offense this week.
