Syracuse Orange at Notre Dame Football: How to watch
By Brad Weiss
The Notre Dame football program closes out the regular season at home against Syracuse Saturday and here is how you can catch the action.
The No. 2 Notre Dame football team will play their final regular-season game on Saturday, as they welcome the Syracuse Orange to Notre Dame Stadium. For the senior, and those players who are declaring early for the draft, this will be a special game, and the Irish should be able to pummel this Orange team in what should be an easy victory.
Notre Dame clinched their spot in the ACC title game this week, as the conference canceled their final game against Wake Forest, but that is no reason to take their feet off the gas. Notre Dame needs to make sure they have a convincing win against Syracuse in terms of the ranking for the College Football Playoff, especially with a likely matchup with Clemson on the horizon.
The Irish cannot afford a small victory against Syracuse, and then a loss in the ACC title game, because you never know how the rankings will play out, as they mostly use the eye test. Ian Book and company need to go in with a business-like attitude, get rid of this lowly Syracuse team, and prepare for the ACC title game.
Here is how you can catch all of the action Saturday:
Who: Syracuse Orange at Notre Dame Fighting Irish
When: Saturday, December 5, 2020
Time: 2:30 PM ET
Where: Notre Dame Stadium, Notre Dame, Indiana
Television Station: NBC
Live Stream: FuboTV
Plenty of new faces have stepped up in a big way this season, and that has helped the Irish to a perfect 9-0 record heading into this game. Playing for the last time inside Notre Dame Stadium is going to be so special for a lot of these players, guys who have helped the program to what could be two appearances in the CFP.
Saturday will be both an emotional, and exciting game for those players who will leave the program, and Book would like nothing more than to set the school record for wins inside his home stadium. Sit back, and enjoy watching some of your favorite Irish players take the field at Notre Dame Stadium for the last time on Saturday.
