It won’t be enough for Notre Dame football to just beat the Syracuse Orange on Saturday, they have to make an example out of them.

The Notre Dame football team will finish up their home schedule on Saturday against the Syracuse Orange, a team they should have no problem beating. The Orange have only one win this season, and the Irish are steamrolling towards the ACC title game, but that does not mean Notre Dame should take them lightly.

This is a Syracuse team that has given teams trouble at times in 2020, and the key for the Irish on Saturday will be getting ahead early and keeping their feet on the gas pedal. Remember, they have already locked up their spot in the ACC Championship Game, where a rematch with the Clemson Tigers likely awaits.

In their first meeting, the Tigers were without star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who came back from the COVID-19 list to put 52 points on Pitt this past weekend. Clemson will be a different team this time around with Lawrence under center, but that does not mean they are just going to walk in and pound the Irish this time around.
