The Notre Dame football team will wrap up their regular season at home against Syracuse and here are three players to keep an eye on.

The Notre Dame football team will play their final regular-season contest on Saturday afternoon against the Syracuse Orange. With Notre Dame favored by 34 points, it is unlikely that this game is competitive, but once again the Irish are dealing with injuries along its offensive line.

Regardless, Saturday, December 5th should be a celebration for senior quarterback Ian Book who can become Notre Dame’s winningest quarterback unless the Orange decide to pull off a miracle. With that said, here are three players to keep an eye on in the game.

For the second straight game, the Notre Dame offensive line will shuffle in different players, as Jarrett Patterson (season-ending ankle injury), Tommy Kraemer (out; recovering from an appendectomy), and Zeke Correll (doubtful; high-ankle sprain) are all expected to miss Saturday’s contest.

Notre Dame’s most likely line up includes Liam Eichenberg, Aaron Banks, Josh Lugg, Dillon Gibbons, and Robert Hainsey. Can Notre Dame continue to find success with these new combinations?

The proposed lineup for Saturday is well equipped enough to win almost every game on the schedule. However, the true challenges lie ahead when the Irish play in the ACC Championship and the College Football Playoff.
