The Notre Dame football program got its fourth commitment for the 2022 class, as Ty Chan has decided to head to South Bend.

This one is a big one! On Thursday afternoon, Notre Dame football landed a big-time 2022 commit out of Massachusetts, offensive tackle Ty Chan. He actually just visited Penn State this past weekend, which was one of his top schools going into it, and after that visit, he obviously made the decision he wanted to be Irish, committing days later to the good guys.

Chan was offered back in August and has been extremely high on Notre Dame and offensive line coach Jeff Quinn‘s list ever since. Once again, it really comes down to the combinations of athletics and academics, which truly isn’t something that is passed on often.

Add the fact that Notre Dame consistently puts lineman in the NFL, and is above and beyond “Offensive Line University”, that’s just a cherry on top for Ty Chan and his family. Chan holds ten offers at the moment from the likes of Michigan, Nebraska, and Penn State among others.

Let us take a look at what the big fella will bring to the Irish once he lands on campus.
