The Notre Dame football team will take on the Clemson Tigers in the ACC Championship Game, and here are three keys to victory for the Irish on Saturday.

The Notre Dame football team will play for the ACC title on Saturday, as they will battle it out in a rematch against the Clemson Tigers. With a spot in the College Football Playoff likely already locked up, the Irish have the opportunity to eliminate the Tigers from postseason play, as a two-loss team may not get in this year.

As we inch closer to Saturday, the Irish need to have a perfect gameplan if they hope to defeat Clemson for the second time this season. With that said, here are three keys to victory for Notre Dame in the ACC Championship Game.

Notre Dame needs to get pressure up front on defense

One of the biggest keys to the Irish winning will be getting pressure on Trevor Lawrence in the passing game. While the Irish struggled to get after D.J. Uiagalelei, making his first road start and throwing for over 430 yards, getting to Lawrence is going to be paramount, especially with how good he is at this point in his career.

Towards the end of the game against Clemson the last time, the defensive line finally started getting some pressure, and actually notched two sacks in the final drive. Getting pressure on Saturday will help to throw Lawrence off of his game, and we have seen him struggle to make his reads with a pass rush consistently getting in his face.
