The Notre Dame football team dropped the ACC Championship to the Clemson Tigers, 34-10, and here are the studs and duds from the matchup.

Notre Dame football was completely outmatched in the ACC Championship Game on both sides of the football, losing convincingly by the score of 34-10. The Irish coaches had no counters for a healthier Clemson squad, who returned multiple starters that were out during Notre Dame’s win against Clemson back in November.

Notre Dame started strong on Saturday, driving the length of the field and kicking a field goal, and it looked like they may have had an answer for Trevor Lawrence once the Tigers got the ball. A tipped pass fell into the hands of Kyle Hamilton deep in Clemson territory, but the Irish had to settle for a field goal, which was a chip shot that was missed.

From there, it was all Clemson, as they dominated the Irish all game long.

Thankfully for the Notre Dame football program, the Irish landed the last spot in the College Football Playoff despite the loss and will take on No. 1 Alabama in the Rose Bowl. As we put a bow on the ACC title game, here are the 3 studs and 3 duds from the matchup.
