Notre Dame football star Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is ticketed for the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, where he has recently been mocked to Cleveland.

Notre Dame football has a few players who should hear their name called early in the 2021 NFL Draft, including star left tackle Liam Eichenberg, and standout linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. While Eichenberg is a fringe first-round pick, Owusu-Koramoah is a consensus pick to go in the first 32 selections, as he is one of the top linebackers in the 2021 NFL Draft class.

He brings a special blend of talent and athleticism to any team and is perfectly built for the NFL game. He is fast, can cover tight ends and running backs, and is also an elite tackler. Also, Owusu-Koramoah has a nose for the ball, making him an incredible draft prospect this offseason.

As expected, as we inch closer to the end of the NFL season, we are seeing a ton of mock drafts everywhere, and nearly all of them have JOK going in round one.

In the latest installment of CBS Sports’ 2021 NFL Mock Draft, Owusu-Koramoah takes his talents to Cleveland, joining an exciting young Browns defense at pick No.  25 overall:

"Cleveland likely did not envision a scenario that they would use a first-round pick on a linebacker but the board shakes out in a manner that necessitates that move. It is much more likely that General manager Andrew Berry adds an edge rusher, cornerback or even wide receiver in the first round."

Playing on one of the better defenses in all of college football, JOK has proven once again that he is one of the best in the game. He has already been named First Team All-ACC, the Butkus Award winner, and is a finalist for the Chuck Bednarik award. He has continued to improve from his breakout season a year ago and would be an excellent fit within an organization in Cleveland that is definitely trending in the right direction.

Of course, there is still one more mountain for Owusu-Koramoah and his Irish teammates to climb, as they look to shock the college football landscape against Alabama in the Rose Bowl. It has been an incredible run for JOK at Notre Dame, and he is fully equipped to be a standout player at the NFL level.
