The Notre Dame football team has a bunch of pro prospects upfront along their offensive line, including offensive guard Aaron Banks.

The Notre Dame football team has an elite group of players along the offensive line, guys who have the experience, and the talent to play at the next level. Heading into their Rose Bowl matchup against No. 1 Alabama, the Irish will need this group of players to play the best game of their collegiate careers if they hope to pull off a stunning victory.

While a lot of the talent in terms of the offensive line circles around star Liam Eichenberg, it is the guy who plays next to him that has really improved his draft status this season. Recently named an ESPN All-American, Aaron Banks has the size and skill that NFL teams will covet once the 2021 NFL Draft rolls around.

Banks has improved his draft status significantly this season and should hear his name called next year.

Banks has the versatility NFL teams desire

One of the biggest things that stands out when speak of Banks is his size, as he stands 6-foot-6, and weighs well over 300 pounds. He has been the left guard for the Irish this season, paving the way for a 1,000-yard season from Kyren Williams, while showing incredibly versatility, and durability.

It is that versatility, as shown when he slid over to left tackle and performed extraordinarily well, that will springboard him into a solid draft position next year. The NFL needs players who can play up and down the line, and in Banks, they would get someone who could start at the next level at either tackle or guard.

Banks and a number of his offensive line teammates could find themselves picked within the three-day draft even next year, including OT Liam Eichenberg, who is a possible first-rounder. Of course, Banks could decide to return to South Bend, possibly moving to tackle, while improving his draft status even more.
