The Notre Dame football team has to replace a lot of talent this offseason, but their nose tackle is returning for another go-around in South Bend.

The Notre Dame football team lost to the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl this past Friday, and for a ton of the veterans, it was the last time they will ever put on a Notre Dame jersey. The program has a lot of players leaving, although the 2020 campaign did not count towards their eligibility.

On a day where we saw many stars say their thank you, and goodbyes to the Notre Dame football program, one key member of the team decided to stick around.

Hinish hits Twitter in the most hilarious way to announce he is returning

On a defense losing an absolute star in linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, the unit got a boost on Monday, as Hinish announced he is returning for another season with the Irish. Kurt Hinish played a key role in Clark Lea‘s defense this past season and is back for more in what should be a more normal 2021 college football season.

Ever seen Wolf of Wall Street? Well, Hinish had his own version for the Irish fans on Monday.

Hinish will in fact return for his fifth season in South Bend, and will likely be back in the starting lineup at Nose Tackle. Notre Dame football will return to their regular schedule in 2021, and will not be in the ACC again, as they had to join the conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has been ravaging the country.

It will certainly be an interesting offseason for the Irish, who made their second CFP appearance in the last three seasons, but have to replace nearly their entire offensive line, key players on defense, and of course, quarterback Ian Book. They are bringing in a top-10 recruiting class, so that should help, as should Hinish’s leadership up front along the defensive line.
