Like every team in college football, the Notre Dame football team already has some questions as they look towards the 2021 season.

Every team in college football comes into every season with questions, and some have more than others. For Notre Dame football, even though the 2020 season just ended, the questions are stacking up for 2021. This can feel overwhelming for fans, especially after an unbeaten regular season that started with almost no questions about the quality of the team being put out onto the field, though there were plenty of questions due to COVID-19.

However, because of a lot of key players graduating, changes among the coaching staff, unknowns among underclassmen, and the continued fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic there will be several things to worry about going into next season. These are questions that Brian Kelly and the rest of his staff, however, it may be composed, need to answer to succeed next season.

These aren’t questions that Notre Dame faces alone, as many teams are dealing with these and much larger issues than these right now. These aren’t questions Notre Dame faces for the first time either or will face for the last.

Now, what exactly are those questions? We take a look at the five biggest as we head into what should be an exciting offseason for the Irish.
