Looking back on the top 5 moments of the Notre Dame football season, including the win over Clemson and Ian Book’s 30th win for the Irish.

The 2020 season for the Notre Dame football team ended on a disappointing note, but here’s nothing that can be done now. Instead, embrace some words from the Nobel Prize-winning writer, Samuel Beckett, “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”

This program is getting better, as they’re better than in 2010, 2012, and even 2018. They’ll keep getting better too. No, they’re not at that end goal of a National Championship yet, but they’re closer, so, stay positive.

One way to stay positive is to remember that this was a great season. This was an unbeaten regular season and would have been a National Championship season once upon a time when voting was the only way to determine such things.

There were several moments that Irish fans will never want to forget, after a year in our lives that was full of things we want to forget. These are five moments in the Notre Dame season to hold onto.
