Ade Ogundeji represented Notre Dame football well at the Senior Bowl

  • Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks

It was a tremendous Senior Bowl week for Ade Ogundeji, who looked very good during one-on-one drills, and then held his own in the actual game. Ogundeji had to work his way up the depth chart in South Bend, and in his final season with the Irish, he was able to rack up six sacks in only ten games.

Ogundeji had the scouts raving heading into the Senior Bowl, and that is going to go a long way this draft season. He has the intangibles needed to be a sack monster at the next level, and getting with the right program is going to make all the difference.

A few teams in need of upgrades at the defensive end and Ogundeji is someone who should hear his name called early in Day 3. Detroit, Tampa Bay, and Seattle would be good landing spots for him, especially the Buccaneers, where he could learn from a group of talented edge rushers already there.
