Aaron Banks could slide into the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft

  • Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants

Aaron Banks had an outstanding final season with the Notre Dame football program, earning consensus All-American honors at offensive guard. A player who is going to be plug-and-play at the next level, Banks overmatched defensive linemen during Senior Bowl week, playing well in drills, and the game.

Looking at his draft stock, he is likely going to be one of the first three Notre Dame football players off the board, possibly going as high as the second round. He showed at the Senior Bowl that he is one of the best interior offensive linemen in this draft class, and any team would be lucky to have him in the middle of their offensive line for years to come.

Three teams that need help immediately in the middle of their line, and who could grab Banks in the second round are Minnesota, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the New York Giants. The Giants would team him with Wil Hernandez, giving them a solid young duo at the position, while the Bucs are trying everything they can to protect Tom Brady.
